Museum Art Recreation
- Find a picture of a work of art you like and then recreate the scene.
- You’re the artist! You can set the scene and be in the picture yourself. Or you can create the scene take the picture. Either way, it’s your statement on art and that’s what we’re going for!
- Use what you find around the house to recreate your artwork: blankets, pets, siblings, buckets, stuffed animals, scarves, fruit, toys, etc. – use your imagination!
- To find some great art to imitate, try browsing online museum collections, like: Rijks Museum (Amsterdam), Art Institute of Chicago, Getty Museum (Los Angeles), The Met (New York), National Gallery (DC), The Tate (London), Indianapolis Museum, The Walters (Baltimore), Cleveland Museum, Louvre (Paris).
